Can you think about a low-carbon skyscraper, light in its momentum towards the sky? Can you think about a city where wood is protagonist again after the long age of steel and cement? It is a dream that is becoming a reality, thanks to an ever-growing group of architects who have embraced the cause of sustainability. It is a real boom, that of wood, which is being imposed as a privileged construction component of this century. And that's it, as explains Philippe Daverio, because "the world we live in today, calls for things to last for long time.
